Terms of Service - MYO Magic

Welcome to MYO Magic! By using the MYO Magic app at yotomyomagic.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. About MYO Magic

MYO Magic is a free tool that helps you create and manage Yoto MYO (Make Your Own) cards. It lets you import audio files, download podcast episodes, find icons, and build playlists for your Yoto player. The app also offers an optional Google Drive integration for importing audio files directly from your Drive.

2. Who Can Use MYO Magic

MYO Magic is designed for parents, teachers, and anyone that owns a Yoto player. You'll need a valid Yoto account to use the core features. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your area.

3. Your Yoto Account

MYO Magic interacts with Yoto's platform on your behalf using the credentials you provide. You are responsible for keeping your Yoto account secure. MYO Magic is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Yoto.

4. Google Drive Integration

MYO Magic offers an optional Google Drive integration that lets you import audio files directly from your Drive. By connecting your Google Drive:

• You authorize MYO Magic to access your Google Drive in read-only mode
• MYO Magic will only access files and folders you explicitly select or navigate to
• You can disconnect your Google Drive at any time from within the app
• You can also revoke access through your Google Account settings

How MYO Magic handles your Google Drive data is described in the Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

5. Your Content

You keep full ownership of all audio files, images, and other content you upload or import through MYO Magic. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use any content you bring in. MYO Magic does not claim any ownership over your content.

Temporary copies of your files are created during processing and are automatically deleted after your import is complete.

6. Acceptable Use

Please don't:

• Use MYO Magic for anything unlawful
• Upload or import content that infringes on someone else's intellectual property rights
• Try to gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the app
• Interfere with the app or other users' access to it

7. Availability

MYO Magic is a free, donation-based passion project. I do my best to keep it running smoothly, but I can't guarantee it will always be available. The app may occasionally go down for maintenance, updates, or other reasons. I reserve the right to modify, pause, or discontinue the app at any time.

8. No Warranties

MYO Magic is provided "as is" and "as available." I can't promise it will be error-free, always secure, or meet every specific need. You use the app at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from your use of MYO Magic. This includes loss of data, loss of content, or any issues with your Yoto player or account.

10. Third-Party Services

MYO Magic connects with third-party platforms including Yoto, Google (Drive, Cloud Platform), Podcast Index, and others. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. I'm not responsible for how third-party services operate.

11. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If you continue using MYO Magic after changes are posted, that counts as accepting the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You can stop using MYO Magic at any time. I reserve the right to suspend or block access for anyone who violates these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
